Last Monday 19 September our beautiful Blessing turned the Big 3!
This year was a quiet one. We've had a bad run of the flu and been bombarded with loads of visitors! So, by the time our Bub's Birthday crept up I was so drained! Though, you can't let a Birthday pass without celebrating! My dear friend Sunita (yes that one! :) has recently come from Melbourne. She and her little one, Adhya spent the afternoon celebrating with us.
We consumed a-lot of sugar!!! Managed to get some water in there... and some very 'interesting' games.. The littlies (we later learned) are not quite into the game scene yet :)
Amani is loving 'Sponge Bob Squarepants' right now. A little bit of 'Strawberry Shortcake' and a tad of 'Cars'. My Sister and I went for a Pink and Red Jelly Fish theme. She made the crepe paper Jelly Fish while sitting infront of the fireplace the night before.
Inspite of our internet running crap! Her Brainstorming and my kitchen antics churned out a smashing good time! Little Adhya can tell you all about it when you meet her ;)
Amani had a very good day. No overwhelming crowd to scare her tootsies off and a relaxed Mommy to spend some good quality time together.
We bought her a 'Little People' Animal Farm. She's been eying this set out for a few months now. Every time we go shopping, she bolts over to the Toy Department in the Pre-School section just to get a glimpse and grab of her 'little people'. Just imagine her amazement when she ripped through the wrapping to find her favourite toy of year! These are the moments a mother finds so rewarding.
